There's something so autumnal (and wintery) about hot chocolate, that instantly reminds me of the season and makes me feel all warm and cosy too!

Here's some of my tips to creating the ULTIMATE hot chocolate, enjoy!

The Ultimate Hot Chocolate

Quality Chocolate A good chocolate choice is crucial! Sometimes I like good old Dairy Milk, sometimes I'm more of a Galaxy girl.... but whichever chocolate you choose, it's always so much better if it's chopped and grated than powder. It gives a much stronger flavour to your hot chocolate!

A Dash of Milk or Cream Typically, my hot chocolates are mostly made up using hot water but adding a quick splash of milk or cream can really alter the taste. It can make your hot choc smooth and creamy, but you could even mix it up further add mess around with different quantities - a hot choc that is largely milk-based can also be delish!

Add Some Flavour For that autumnal twist, you could add a some flavour in there! A little cinnamon, pumpkin spice, mint, etc. can all lift your hot choc to a new level!

Toppings! My favourite part of the ultimate hot chocolate is the toping! A little bit of whipped cream, marshmallows and of course some chocolate curls! Yummy!
