Creating a Christmas-Themed Self-Care Jar

It's mid November, and Christmas is just around the corner. I think we can all agree that 2020 didn't exactly go to plan, and now that the UK has entered a second lockdown, some of us are finding these strange times even harder.

With that in mind, today's post is about how you can create a self-care jar that's perfect for this season! This can be given to friends or family as a gift, or you can use it yourself, it's completely up to you.

How To Make a Self-Care Jar

To create your self-care jar, you can buy some items especially - or just use what's around the house! Grab a mason or jam jar, an old biscuit tin, or whatever is to hand, hey money's tight at this time of year! You could then decorate your jar by covering it with stickers, stars, buttons, etc.

Add your own personal touch to it, something that will make you smile.

What To Put Inside? The typical self-care jar may include different relaxing activities to do, your favourite quotes and happy memories. But as this is a Christmas themed jar, let's add a festive twist!

When writing your activities and quotes, it's your decision how you'd like to keep them in your jar. Maybe you'd like to write them all on different coloured scraps of paper, or perhaps written on lollipop sticks?

Now's the fun part - Time to write your self-care activities! Click on the link for 50 self-care ideas, but if you're using your jar for Christmas or the winter season, you may want to include the following ideas:
