It's been a while since I've done a book tag so I was excited to be tagged by Nikki at Nikki Swift Reads!
I've seen this tag (originally created by Ellyn at Allonsythornaxx) a few times on Twitter and loved reading everyone's answers.

Questions
What are you currently reading?
I've recently finished Matt Haig's The Midnight Library, which I really enjoyed! Next on my TBR is A Girl Made of Air by Nydia Hetherington. I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately, but now Autumn is almost here, I'm looking forward to getting all cosy under a blanket with a good book!
What is your favourite 'Can't leave the house' activity?
Lockdown didn't alter my day-to-day life too much, as I still worked throughout the pandemic. Yet, I did discover some new hobbies and activities while at home - in fact, I even wrote a post about it! I've been more active, working out and doing yoga more regularly, and I've also been teaching myself British Sign Language (BSL) at home.
What is a book you've been meaning to read forever?
Ohh there's so many! I really need to read Anne Frank's The Diary of a Young Girl, as it's a book that everyone should read. I also want to read Markus Zusak's The Book Thief.
What is an intimidating book on your TBR?
Hmm.. I think I find any book series the most intimidating. Bex Hogan's Viper and Venom are popular within the bookish community and have been on my TBR for a while, I'm hoping to read these sometime soon! I need to read Garber's Caraval series too!
What are the three top-priority books on your TBR?
I'm very much a mood-reader so my TBR isn't ordered - it's a bit all over the place! I just read whatever I feel like in the moment, currently, I'm in a cosy Autumnal mood so I usually turn to mysteries and fantasies at this time of year!
Recommend a short book.
I don't really read many short books, I much prefer longer books that you can really get in to. However, I couple of shorter books (approx 350 pages) that I've enjoyed recently are Alice Oseman's Loveless, and also both of Beth O'Leary's The Switch and The Flatshare.
Recommend a long book.
A longer book (approx 500 pages) that I read earlier this year is Erin Morgenstern's The Starless Sea, it's such a magical book and the world-building is incredible! If you haven't read it, please do! It's amazing.
What do you plan on reading next?
Next on my list is Nydia Hetherington's A Girl Made of Air. But after that, who knows! I'm currently planning my Autumnal TBR which will be published on my blog soon.

Hi Jen,
Oh yes, The Starless Sea is fab! I highly recommend it! x
The Book Thief was great! I'll also have to check out The Starless Sea, as The Night Circus is one of my top 5 favorite books
