Happy Monday everyone! As mentioned in my New Years Resolution post, I’d like you all to get to know me a little better – and what better way than with a Q&A! So, here we go: Q&A, bookblogger-style!
What is the first book you ever read?
I remember being read the ‘Winnie The Pooh’ stories as a child, but my first reading love was the ‘Harry Potter’ novels which I would read many times over.
How did you get into reading?
The ‘Harry Potter’ novels did it for me, but studying English Literature at A Level sparked my interest in classical literature too which continues to this day.
Hardback or paperback?
Paperback. No, hardback. No. Hm. I love hardbacks because they look prettier on my bookshelf, but paperbacks are so much easier to read.
How many books do you have?
Wait, wait – I have to count? I couldn’t possibly, there’s too many!
Do you borrow books or buy them?
Buy. I absolutely love going to my local library, but there’s something so accomplishing by adding ANOTHER book to your bookshelf.
Favourite place to read?
In bed, while tucked up nice and warm under the covers, or under a blanket on the sofa with a hot cup of tea.
If you could go to any fictional world, what would it be?
Harry Potter universe/Hogwarts - Of course!
Do you read with or without music?
For the majority of time, I read without. Sometimes however, I prefer to listen to background music of natural sounds.
Do you judge a book by its cover?
Sometimes, but rarely. They’re just so pretty, okay!
